Bigger & Better, Issue #003 -- Don't be afraid to make mistakes February 22, 2009 |
Welcome to Issue 3 of Natural-Muscle-Mass.com's Bigger & Better. Fear of making mistakes is what stops people from achieving their goals. You can begin to reach all your objectives if only you keep your eye on the prize and start learning from your mistakes. Everything that happens to you in life is meant to teach you something about yourself. Knowing this should make you feel empowered... because it will give you courage to move forth in pursuit of your goals. I may be speaking for myself only, but I think that if you had the opportunity to shape your life around your training, you would. You would get a job or start a business that allows you all the time, freedom, and finances needed to get to your desired physique. You would only train at the best gym in your area or possibly even build an incredible home gym. Your groceries would consist of the finest cuts of meat & only the freshest vegetables/fruits. You would probably also take a short nap after your morning training session. There's even a good chance that you would become a competitive bodybuilder. The amazing thing is… YOU CAN create all the ideal circumstances you need to get what you want out of life. All successful people know that taking risks is necessary for the attainment of anything of great value. You might have heard expressions similar to "There's no reward without risk" or "He who risks nothing, gets nothing". This is true. As you begin shaping your life around your training, you'll surely make mistakes. Often, these mistakes will make you feel like your going backwards. It's at those moments that you could CHOOSE to understand what went wrong (and how not to make the same mistake the next time) or you can give up and go back to talking about how you 'have the potential' to be huge. If you're still hesitant to begin your journey towards the body you always felt you could potentially have, just know this... If you are willing to risk everything for the perfect body... then, you are 100% certain to have it. All this may sound egotistical on my part, talking about risking everything for the perfect body. Just know that when you do what you love... you as well as everyone around you will be happier. This is because as you become bigger and better (assuming that this is what you want) you will positively affect more people in this world. Trust me when I say that as you grow physically, you will grow in every other area of your life. I will leave you with a powerful tip to get you to your ultimate physique. It will help you overcome self-doubt, criticism from others, and fear of making mistakes. IMAGINE having already attained your goal twice a day… once in the morning when you wake up and once at night before going to bed (as well as anytime you feel like your goal is slipping away or unattainable).
