Build Massive Forearms
with this
Muscle Mass Exercise

As funny as it sounds, Popeye inspired me to have massive forearms. I remember seeing the movie as a child and thinking “wouldn’t it be cool to have huge forearms”. It wasn’t until years later that I discovered that it was possible through weight training. You don’t necessarily have to perform exercises specifically for your forearms to develop them. Nevertheless, targeting them will help get them even bigger as well as enhance the thickness of your biceps.

The best muscle mass exercise for developing huge forearms is standing reverse barbell curl. It is very similar to ‘standing barbell curl’ for the biceps, except your palms are placed over the bar. Your hands should be about shoulder-width apart and elbows kept close to the body. Stand up straight but don't lock your knees.

This video demonstrates the right positioning and movement. The technique is similar to the one I use. Please note that this video is not meant to display individuals who have gained significant natural muscle mass. I included it to show you how to perform the exercise.

An alternative to this muscle mass exercise is any kind of reverse curl. You may do it standing up or sitting down as a ‘preacher’ curl. You can use dumbbells, a cable & attachment, or an e-z bar.
